About Freesat Satellite Installation

As part of the agreements signed up for by all retailers of Freesat products, they must offer an installation service. This installation must include the supply and set up of a dish, lnb and cable, carried out to high standard ensuring you can connect up your Freesat digital box and enjoy all the free channels available. All the major retailers offer installation online, but the installation itself is usually carried out by their third party sub-contract company, Tech Guys in the case of Currys and Dixons etc.

Prices are for a single set up, and are fair in comparison to what would be offered from an independent installer. If you already have a Sky satellite setup in place, its more than likely that it will already be suitable for Freesat, so don’t forget to try the Freesat receiver on your existing setup first, before buying this service.

- Installation of suitable dish, single lnb and cables for Freesat platform (also suitable for Sky)
- Will work with both standard-definition and high-definition channels/programmes
- CAI approved installation
- For properties up to 3 storeys high (please ensure you have all permissions in place)

- Freesat box sold separately
- Not ideally suited for Freesat PVR boxes which require a quad lnb with two cables.
