Published on freesat’s website today:
“Due to very high demand there is a shortage of freesat HD boxes in the shops at the moment. We are working with freesat retailers and manufacturers to increase supplies as soon as possible”.
“In the meantime some freesat retailers will allow you to reserve HD boxes for collection when stock comes in. The freesat website will continue to give you updates.”
Not so sure this is due to high demand looking at the distribution quantities but hopefully all will be sorted soon.

I ordered an SD box from Argos in North Finchley on Saturday morning, which they say will be available for me to collect on Wednesday. Fingers crossed they’re true to their word.
Needless to say the staff all thought I was trying to order a Sky box…

I walked into Curry’s in Chichester yesterday lunchtime and bought one straight off the shelf and arranged for a dish fitting for next week, so no problems down here in West Sussex!
