Managed to grabbed a few complete screenshots of the new Freesat website before Freesat got wise and password protected it. Seems that the new site was not due for launch yet, but was accidently (probably like Comet and John Lewis!!!) placed on the original host server for atleast some to see.
Not sure how long these images will remain before Freesat ask us to remove them, but here they are. More to follow:

At the request of freesat, we have removed the images from this blog. The email we received stated the following:
“we notice that you have posted screen shots from a freesat website on
your site. Please be aware that site is still under construction and the
images you have posted are of work-in-progress pages. Importantly
several of the screen shots you have placed on your site feature channel
imagery and copyright protected material that has not yet been approved
for use by the broadcasters or freesat.”

DFW – Yes, its going to be available on Freesat, but we don’t know for sure what existing contract Channel 4 have in place with Sky for that particular channel. We expect it might be the same as E4/More4, hopefully they’ve not done anything stupid like extend it further.
Charlie – The only list provided is that of the image above. We managed to grab the subcategories but they don’t give any further information.

The only HD channel listed for launch is BBC, ITV1 HD was mentioned as being available soon via the interactive functions – “press red for HD” and “press blue for SD” – the software for which appears to have been downloaded automatically last night (this is from one of the early purchasers who also published screen dumps of it).

davemurgatroyd – Yes, the images from the update were provided to us by that very same person, discussed this morning, http://www.joinfreesat.co.uk/index.php/freesat-software-update

Look at the dates in the small print on the right hand side of the Home Page.
Boxes in store to buy from May 1, site update live April 14. Well, they missed one, so the other has to be in doubt!

Close the website for a few days… so you don’t promote Feesat to much.

It’s quite possible that Freesat will turn out to be complete rubbish for the first year or three. My plan is to get an SD box at first, then make a decision later about whether to get the Humax or not once some decent HD channels come on stream and/or they sort out the main bugs (and there will be bugs).

I did and on several email accounts and had nothing back from them.
A phone call to them was just as bad, I was asking a question and the girl was laughing and kept covering the phone so I could not hear her. Not very good for a company like that.. it gives the wrong image.
I will not be rushing out on Tue to buy a box, infact I just bought a freesatfrom$ky system. I am very dissapointed with the Freesat offering. When they get more channels I will think then about joining Freesat.
