It was made aware to us by DigitalSpy member ‘rai uno’ that Sky Sports 1-3 and FX UK are currently available FTA (free-to-air). These channels can be added to any non-Sky Digibox, so should work on your Freesat receiver by adding the channels to the non-Freesat mode using the frequency 12110 H 27500 2/3.
We don’t expect these channels to be available for long, there must be a technical error or some deliberate enticement so enjoy whilst you can.

How do you get to them on a foxsat? I’ve changed to non-freesat but can’t find them. Mind you, I’m enjoying the Olympics in HD, so probably wont watch much else anyway!

I am picking this up on my Manhattan FTA receiver where the Sky sports channels have a duplicated listing — one of these listings is still scrambled but the other not. I have been receiving the Golf, Cricket and Arsenal match in the clear togethe wth Skybet. No joy on my Humax even with a fresh scan.

Still working on humax foxsat, to get them, go to non freesat mode, manual scan select all and all, and scan, it will take a while and you should have around close on a thousand channels though you wont be able to view them all , but the sky sports ones are working.

For all those with a HUMAX box who cannot find the sky channels enter non freesat mode go to MANUAL TUNE
TRANSPONDER All
NETWORK SEARCH Disable
SCRAMBLED TYPE All
Then hit search and after 5 or so mins you should have all channels just go down the list untilyou find one of the Sky sports that is working

You could scan just the single transponder, as I did, 12110H 27500 2/3 (or auto), lots faster. Don’t just scan FTA, do ALL, not NETWORK, the channels still to appear to be flagged as ‘encrypted’ or is it called ‘soft scrambled’?
I can only imagine that Sky will refund those viewers that are currently paying for this (un)encrypted service that others are (possibly) enjoying free . . . Right . . Or otherwise those with Sky receivers are probably unable to view anyway whether FTA or not, quite likely . .

I cannot get it on my Goodmans box. The problem is that when you enter code 2/3 changes to 3/4 and there is no way you can change it back to 2/3. Unless someone knows better.

Steven – Sky won’t offer any refunds to existing sports mix customers, as the service is still subscription on Sky, as the encryption flag prevents any Sky digibox from receiving the service for free.

Same problem as Denis – Bush Freesat box automatically inputs 3/4 and I can’t access the data box to change it. Have managed to input everything successfully on my Fortec Star FTA box. Bit long-winded but am watching the cricket.

I have the Humax, search manual scan but look for all channels not just FTA and when it finishes channels in the region of 5647 are the SKY sports ones.

Cheers Eddie. Have found Sky Sports 1,2 & 3 on my Humax. Vikki, try keying in these channels. Sky Sports 1 – 5647, 5648, 5650. Sky Sports 2 – 5646, Sky Sports 3 – 5649, 5651, 5652. All these channels are working at the mo. Also FX is on channel 5653 on the Humax… Doubt they’ll still be working by the weekend though

Yasar, I got my humax to work after repeating the manual scan. Some of the sky sports channels do not work, but channels 5647, 5648, 5650, 5646, 5649, 5651 & 5652 all work. Try doing another manual scan

Can anyone help me with the frequency of skp sports 1,2,3. I have a sagem DTR 94250s. i have been trying sor sometime but no luck. My FEC won’t change to 2/3 regardless of the frequency i enter. I tried 12110 H 27500 and others but no luck. Am in the manchester. Cheers

You can’t, they are subscription only. They appeared briefly on Freesat, but if you check the date of this report, it was over 4 years ago.
