Appled OK but can’t see any visible changes – is there a list of bug fixes somewhere?
It still takes you (annoyingly) into the TV guide at startup.
Can you still delete a series with one click or have they added an “are you sure” failsafe? (I’m too scared to try!)

There is only 1 bug fix in this release being the ‘Loading’ issue for YouTube.

On the topic of 1010S, has anyone encountered sporadic picture loss & pops, the original unit was replaced by Humax but the issue is still there. Can’t be to do with cabling as the same HDMI cable works perfectly fine with my disc player. Any suggestions ?

Sounds more like a slightly misaligned dish to me.

Two issues I was hoping would be fixed in the latest update. When switching off the Humax, the tv does not automatically switch back to TV. It did before the last update (54). The other is going to TV guide at startup. That was only introduced in 54 and is pointless. It means either clicking ok to watch TV guide properly or exit to come out of it. I hope these 2 issues will be sorted fairly soon.

My Humax 1000S was exchanged for another one because after about an hour or so it went out of lip sync. Switching it off then on again puts it in sync for another hour or so. I have a good signal on both tuners and have gone through all the suggested steps from the helpline including setting up again and resetting the original default settings but nothing cures it. I think its a faulty chip in this batch that is causing the problem. Anyone had this problem also?

Hi I’m not very technically minded, but please Humax will you –
    1. Bring back auto sync switch on with TV like my old box did
    2. Reduce ‘Freetime’ start up time
    3. Bring back a ‘Last Channel watched/recall button’

The humax 1010s box might have to go and I reluctantly go back to sky which is a real shame as it’s an excellent alternative but has annoying features such as
1- a scrolling display that can’t be turned off and is very distracting and annoying
2- the lip sync adjustment being out on some channels only so the lip sync adjustment is redundant
3- turning the tv off turns off the humax box off. Great idea unless the humax box is connected to another tv elsewhere

I have contacted humax but they don’t seem interested.

Please think carefully before buying a humax box

My Humax box likes to start up on its own 2-3 times an hour the time display will dissapear and the signal swithches the tv to the scart input then the box returns to normal stanby mode with time showing.
If I connect with HDMI cable the time display still dissapears however the tv viewing is not interupted.
Humax have exchanged the box but when the Humax t1010s arrives it comes without the Latest software update so think they must be testing the box before sending replacement with the old software.
Humax say they no of no such problems so wondering why this is happening in the mean time I have put the Humax 1010s back in its box and using my Humax foxsat which has no such problems also have a sky HD Box and again no such problems so confused why the Humax 1010s is doing this does anyone else have this problem?

Yes I have, I wondered why that had happened. I have no idea what caused it
