Presumably this is a derivative of the ITV hub? If so, I will not be using it because picture quality is poor and it forces you to watch the ads. It’s a pity that all the catch up services can’t be as good as the BBC I-player.

Excellent news! Does this mean that viewers with Scottish Borders postcodes will have access to STV Player? (they currently see ITV Hub but it bombs out as soon as you try and launch it)

No, it won’t be carried on Freesat. Replacing the STV City channels, it’ll be on Freeview chan 8, Sky 117 and Virgin 159 in the appropriate post code areas. It’ll also be streamed online on the STV Player.

Cheers for the answer Paul, its a pity but typical people has invested in the Freesat platform and they are the LAST as usual to get the channels that may be of any use to their customers?

Not happy that we have to be forced to use a different platform.
