I can’t recommend this TV for Freesat viewing. The reason is that the “Favourites” functionality is broken. “Favourites” works fine for Freeview and for non-Freesat satellite viewing.
Try for yourself. Create your favourites list. Then bring up the programme banner and press blue. Nothing happens
This is a big deal for me because Freesat has hundreds of channels and it takes too long browsing the entire list.

I don’t think the selection of ‘Favourites’ from the Information banner is broken for ‘freesat’ mode, as unlike ‘DVB’ and ‘Other Satellite’ modes, the Information banner does not include the option ‘Press Blue for Favourites. So not broken, but one has to question why it was built into ‘DVB’ and ‘Other Satellite’ modes and not ‘freesat’ mode. Maybe it’s not part of the ‘freesat’ specas it’s not a feature on my Humax Foxsat HDR. On the plus side, i-player loads a lot quicker on this excellent TV than on the Humax Foxsat HDR.
