   Reportedly they have also had resolution and audio bitrate changes (for the worse) – but this does reduce the bitrate starvation they apparently had. I don’t watch either, I’m just going by DS posts.

   They’ve obviously migrated them on to a weaker TP to save a few quid. For info, it looks like these new Capital & Heart TV channels will also be on this transponder.

   Anyone who can’t watch these channels now due to break-up issues need to get their dish alignment checked. Whilst it’s a weaker TP than previous light or moderate precipitation shouldn’t cause break-up or fading.

   Getting 97% strength with 85% quality on both in East Central Scotland with a Std Zone 2 dish so can’t see that it’s any weaker a transponder. People with Ex Sky zone 1 dishes could upgrade to a zone 2 if they are getting rain fade problems but dish alignment check is a good idea. Just a thought.

   Probably need your dish moved a bit towards Eutelsat 28A assuming your LNB covers the higher frequency of 12.523 V which it should if it’s a Sky type LNB.

    Was this there yesterday admin, looks like it’s been added today as I didn’t spot it. Not riveting viewing but more dosh in freesat’s coffers!
